The Laure-process can be used on diverse materials such as plastic, glass, metal, aluminum, film and much more to coat them. Aluminum is characterized by a nearly constant and reflectivity over the entire visible spectrum and the adjacent UV-A and NIR range.
Through an aluminum coating, the reflection of a workpiece can be improved for example. In addition, this type of coating is applied in a wide range (e.g. food packaging) and still offers some opportunities for innovation.

Metallic coatings can be used to protect and refine components in many different ways.
Dr. Laure Plasmatechnologie GmbH has years of experience in methods for depositing metallic layers on a wide range of surfaces and components.
The extremely high temperatures in our arc plasma generators are capable of evaporating any metal – even tungsten, which has a boiling point of 5660° C.
We have successfully applied coatings with the following materials to date:
Boron, aluminium, silicon, titanium, chromium, iron, nickel, copper, zinc, germanium, selenium, yttrium, zirconium, molybdenum, palladium, silver, cadmium, indium, tin, tellurium, tantalum, tungsten, iridium and gold, as well as various alloys of these metals.
